2017 WORKSHOP SERIES
A series of workshops will launch the self-generated academic life of Turenscape Academy (TA) during its first year. These workshops are aimed to lead towards the 4 academic tracks of TA: Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urbanism, Art & Design, leading towards longer courses in 2017-2018.

For further information on all workshops and details of payments of student fees, please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. A deposit of 500 RMB os required to reserve a place for each workshop. The final balance of fees shall be due to be paid 10 day prior to the start of each workshop. Payment is to be made by bank transfer, WeChat or Ali Pay. Any bank charges are to be borne by the payee. Students shall be responsible for their travel arrangements and expenses, and for insurance (travel, health, loss/damage of property.)
INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL COLLABORATIONS
Turenscape Academy has established several short-term visiting workshop and field trip programmes, in collaboration with some of the world’s leading universities. These academic collaborations and exchanges are designed to provide international students with an in-depth experience of China, situated in the unique heritage and ecological setting of Xixinan village, where specific issues can be addressed which cannot be considered adequately elsewhere.
RESIDENTIAL STUDIO PROGRAMMES
A yearly roster of design studios, conceived and led by distinguished educators, practitioners and thinkers, both of national and international standing, in each of the disciplinary areas of Turenscape Academy: Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urbanism, Art & Design. These studios, affiliated to Chinese and International universities, have students residing in Xixinan for either one semester or shorter, more intensive studios.
RESIDENTIAL POST-PROFESSIONAL DESIGN EDUCATION
Turenscape Academy (TA) intends to launch a series of post-professional degree programmes in the disciplines of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urbanism and Art & Design. These three-month and one-year duration programmes will focus on the projective capacity of design education at the post-professional level, to confront the urgent urban and rural issues facing the next generation.
RESIDENTIAL RESEARCH SCHOLAR PROGRAMMES
Turenscape Academy is committed to research in the various design disciplines of its teaching curriculum, along with more technical and scientific research, and research in the humanities related to heritage, history, theory and culture. Spaces are available for individual researchers and institutes, to engage in short term field research, research retreats and longer term research residencies.
ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES
As a platform for the ongoing evolution of design and planning practices for recent graduates and mid-career professionals, Turenscape Academy (TA) offers a series of professional training courses. These short courses and workshops focus on a variety of issues, methods and techniques, with the aim of advancing design intelligence in the professional disciplines focused on in TA.
